Ahlers & Vogel advised EHC Ventures GmbH on the sale of a majority stake in DSI Aerospace to private equity investor SEVEST.

DSI Aerospace, with locations in Bremen, Braunschweig, and Budapest, specializes in the development of mission-critical electronic hardware with embedded proprietary software algorithms for space applications.

DSI Aerospace has a clear focus on research and development and has established itself as a key supplier to leading satellite manufacturers such as Airbus, Thales Alenia Space, and OHB. The company is also regarded as a reliable development partner for the European Space Agency (ESA), the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and various international space agencies and research institutions, including those in South Korea, Japan, and the Middle East. Since its foundation in 1997, DSI Aerospace has recorded consistently strong double-digit sales growth per year and has significantly increased its profitability.

The managing partners will remain active in the company’s operations after the transaction and will retain a minority stake. With their extensive expertise, they will play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth for DSI Aerospace.
