Philipp Landers studied law in Hamburg and London after having completed his apprenticeship as bank clerk. Afterwards he worked as scientific assistant at the University of Hamburg and in the credit and foreign departments of a major German bank. He was admitted to the bar in 1995 and became a partner of our law firm in 2003. Mr. Landers specializes in national and international shipping and transportation law, including maritime insurance law, as well as national and international sales and distribution law. In maritime business law, he acts in particular as counsel for shipyards, suppliers of shipyards, shipping and logistics companies. In sales and distribution law, Mr Landers focuses on international distribution and franchise law as well as CISG. He also has extensive expertise in product liability law. He has many years of experience in arbitration matters, both as lawyer and arbitrator.
