Appointment of Dr. Eva-Maria Harm as Partner

Ahlers & Vogel is pleased to announce that Dr Eva-Maria Harm has joined the firm as a partner on 1 January 2023. Dr Harm joined Ahlers & Vogel on 1 April 2017 as a lawyer in the specialist area of “Shipping and Transport Law”.

Dr Harm initially completed her elective traineeship at our firm in the practice area of “Shipping and Transport Law” in Hamburg and then worked as a research assistant at the firm following her second state examination. During this time, she wrote a comparative law dissertation on ship arrest in Germany and the Netherlands. Dr Harm is highly regarded as a competent contact in legal matters concerning national and international road transport, the management of sea-going vessels, here in particular in the area of crewing, marine insurance and in advising on extensive repair and new construction projects of ships, in particular cruise ships.

Our “Shipping and Transport Law” team will also be significantly strengthened for the future by the appointment of Dr Harm as a partner and will be developed further with her.
