Katharina Oechsle attended schools in Hamburg and Delaware/USA and studied law in Hamburg and Prague, focusing on civil law. She was appointed to the bar in 2010 and worked for Ahlers & Vogel as an associate in Maritime Law from 2011-2023. In 2016 Katharina completed a three-months secondment in the legal department of an international issuing company for closed end funds with an emphasis on Corporate Law. Later, she furthered her in-house expertise by serving as Legal Counsel for Global Procurement at a leading wind turbine manufacturer for 2,5 years, before re-joining Ahlers & Vogel in the position of ‘Counsel’ in April 2026.
