Fields of Law
Dr. Birgit Berninghausen studied Law in Bonn and Bremen and received her doctorate for a thesis on the influence of EC Law on National Law. She had worked in the diplomatic service for several years, e.g., at the German General Consulate in Barcelona and as head of the Consular Department of the German Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, before joining our law firm in 2003. As a bar-certified specialist in Medicine Law, she counsels clients of the health care sector, especially with regard to the remuneration of hospital services.
