Dr Adriaan den Hertog studied law in Amsterdam and Munich. His doctorate focussed on civil law disputes by way of international civil litigation and arbitration. After completing his doctorate, he worked for several years as a Dutch lawyer in Amsterdam and for an international law firm in Bremen. At Ahlers and Vogel, he specialises in commercial and corporate law. Dr den Hertog is admitted to the bar in Bremen and Amsterdam and represents clients before German and Dutch courts. He therefore has experience in disputes with an international aspect involving commercial and corporate law as well as various enforcement and arbitration matters.
