Dr Adriaan den Hertog works in the field of commercial and corporate law at Ahlers & Vogel. He is admitted practising as both a German Rechtsanwalt and a Dutch advocaat and represents clients before German and Dutch courts. He also advises on issues of German-Dutch commercial law. Dr. den Hertog has extensive experience in cross-border litigation involving foreign elements relating to commercial, corporate, enforcement and arbitration law. He studied law in Amsterdam and Munich. His doctoral thesis focused on civil law conflicts in the context of international civil proceedings and arbitration. Prior to joining Ahlers & Vogel, he worked for several years as a Dutch advocaat in Amsterdam and for an international law firm in Bremen.
