Ahlers & Vogel supports the International WISTA Annual General Meeting & Conference

We are delighted to support the 41st AGM and conference of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) which takes place in Hamburg from 12th to 15th October 2021! Besides our financial support as Friends of WISTA sponsors, we add to the success of the event with our colleague Hendrikje Herrmann being a member of the organising committee and contact person for the local WISTA chapter of the Ems-Dollart region.

WISTA promotes diversity in the maritime, trading and logistics sectors by building and extending a community among its members and supporting the professional development of women at management level. WISTA members represent all facets of the maritime industry, including shipowners, shipyards, charterers, banks, insurances, classification societies, ship suppliers, port authorities and government officials. The topics of the conference range from the impact of new technologies and climate change on maritime business models to tomorrow’s intelligent supply chain infrastructure.
