having a dual qualification as a lawyer and a master mariner, joined Ahlers & Vogel in January 2000 after having gained substantial experience as an internationally recognised P & I Club correspondent, safety and quality management consultant and in flag state administration. Ronald Wöhrn, in addition to his position as a shipping lawyer, is also an arbitrator and a Fellow of The Nautical Institute. He has held several lectures, chaired seminars and is author of numerous articles on maritime insurance, safety management and emergency planning and response and is the author of GARD's "Guidance to Masters". He has been a partner since 2002.
