Dr. Klaus J. Starke

studied law in Bremen. In 1981 he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Boalt Hall School of Law of the University of California at Berkeley. After his studies he received his doctorate for a thesis on warranty issues relating to sale of goods. He has been working as a lawyer since 1984; in 2001, he was appointed as a civil law notary. Dr. Starke is partner in our firm. He specialises in advising companies and private persons in all areas of Company Law. He has wide-ranging experience in the field of M & A, company restructuring and the ongoing administration of joint ventures, including the organisation of company successions. Dr. Starke is a member of the management board of the Hanseatic Bar Association in Bremen and the management board of the Chamber of Civil-Law Notaries in Bremen.
