studied law in Kiel. Subsequently, while practising in a law firm specialising in Building Law, he completed his traineeship (Referendariat), doctorial thesis and worked at the university. He was admitted to the bar in 1992 and joined our firm as a partner in 1993. He was appointed as a civil- law notary in 2006. As a bar-certified specialist in Building Law and the Law of Architects he concentrates on advising small to medium-sized construction enterprises and on giving legal advice with respect to the construction process of large projects. He is a member of the Committee of Bar-Certified Specialists for Building Law and the Law of Architect of the Hanseatic Bar Association in Bremen (admission of bar-certified specialists).
