Dr. Birgit Berninghausen
Lawyerstudied law in Bonn and Bremen and received her doctorate for a thesis on the influence of EC law on national law. She had worked in the diplomatic service for several years, e.g., at the German General Consulate in Barcelona and as the manager of the Consular Department of the German embassy in Jakarta before joining our law firm in 2003. She counsels our clients from the health care sector, especially regarding the remuneration for hospitals’ and physicians’ services, and she also advises on debt collection abroad.
